Battle for Jerusalem Makes Jewish News
Countless battles have been fought to capture her and claim her religious glory. Now, under Jewish sovereignty, a different battle is being waged in the Israeli capital—a battle for her soul, says Brooklyn-based filmmaker Liz Nord, creator of the forthcoming documentary 'Battle for Jerusalem.' Newspapers across the Jewish world learned about the project when the Jewish News Service picked up this article.

Liz on "New Directions in Jewish Film"
I was honored to be part of the lineup of speakers and events celebrating the San Francisco Jewish Federation’s Centennial this month, discussing “New Directions in Jewish Filmmaking” with the wonderful Peter Stein of the SF Jewish Film Festival and filmmaker Sam Ball. It was exciting to be in my home-away-from home and to share the spotlight with some other incredible people, like one of my favorite authors, Michael Chabon, and NY Times columnist David Brooks.
