Interviewing legendary documentarian Joe Berlinger for the podcast, while wedged between a hotel bathroom and closet. Whatever it takes.
PODCASTS
As Editor-in-Chief at No Film School, I developed and co-hosted our podcasts, which frequently made iTunes Top 10 in the Film & TV category, generated almost three million streams, and had listeners from over 50 countries.
“The best, most relevant podcast for filmmakers making work at any budget." -iTunes review
Indie Film Weekly was our flagship news program, covering a wide variety of topics of value to working filmmakers, including industry and gear news, independent movie releases, practical advice, and grant and festival deadlines.
We also aired a new interview or roundtable discussion each week. These lively conversations centered around the art of filmmaking and featured some of independent film’s most prolific voices, sharing firsthand experiences and behind-the-scenes insights into the filmmaking process. Notable guests included Sean Baker (The Florida Project), Ruben Östlund (The Square), Gillian Robespierre (Obvious Child), Debra Granik (Winter’s Bone), Brett Gelman and Janicza Bravo (Lemon), Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation), Yorgos Lanthimos (The Favourite) and Oscar-nominated documentarians Joe Berlinger, Julie Cohen, and Nanette Burstein.
"I have never left any of their podcasts without learning something of value."
